Retired as Chief Park Warden after 35 years of service in the National Park Service. He worked in Jasper,Alberta, Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia and Riding Mountain National Park. His experience includes 18 years as a backcountry warden riding and packing the 4000 square miles of wilderness in Jasper for extended periods. Involved in whitewater and stillwater canoe paddling and search and rescue operations in mountainous, river and backcountry areas of the park. He ended his career as the Chief Park Warden in Riding mountain National Park in Manitoba. Hobbies include RV and horse travel, flyfishing, archery and rifle hunting,as well as sharing his wilderness experiences with anyone willing to listen. He also drives a wagon team around his home in Manitoba. |
Retired from Erickson Manitoba Lab and X-Ray as a charge technologist. Owned and rode horses for 35 years in the Riding Mountains of Manitoba. Extensive back country horse travel in Banff, Jasper and Waterton Lakes National Parks. Enjoys flyfishing, archery hunting and especially travelling with her horses to Arizona for the winter months and sharing her skills with visitors to Spirit lake Wilderness Resort. |
