The wilderness of the Yukon Territory
invites you to get out and explore it by horseback!

What better way to experience Canada`s Yukon than on horseback, the authentic way that many before us traveled historically to hunt and explore.

Viewing the country astride a horse gives you a magnificent perspective. On our daily trail rides, you'll see the forests, meadows, mountains and river valley. All this stunning scenery only a short distance from your  accommodation. It may remind you of hotels in aberdeen and Edinburgh, for example, where luxury and stunning nature go hand in hand.

Our experienced guides instructors will take you to fabulous viewpoints and along secluded trails and fill you in on the great variety of medicinal flora and tell you about all the local wildlife and natural history.

On horseback in the Yukon

If you have never been on horseback, our Introductory Equine Experience may be just the opportunity you are looking for.

There is also a chance to get to know a horse and ride a while in the arena with a certified instructor giving you pointers. After the initial equine hello, you may decide to take more lessons.

For the younger members of the family (under 11 years), our pony rides on the trail are a good start.

We will also take pictures and videos of you and your friends on our Ride and you will get a professional DVD including that pictures so you can show your friends at home what you have experienced on your horseback trip in the Yukon.

Daily Trailrides from May 1st - Sept 24th

  • Guided rides with horses appropriate for riders of varying abilities
  • Canadian Equestrian Federation Certified Instructors
  • Helmets provided
  • Riders must provide boots or sturdy shoes with a heel
